Debra Guertin

I am a dedicated mental health professional with over a decade of experience in education and community services. Completed my MA in Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University, I bring a multifaceted background that includes a BA in Early Childhood Education from Catawba College and an AA in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

As a mother and woman of faith, I approach my work with empathy, resilience, and a deep commitment to the well-being of others. My journey has included serving as a certified peer support specialist , where I walked alongside individuals facing mental health challenges with compassion and understanding born from both professional and personal experience.

My work spans early childhood education and mental health, and as a therapist, I offer both in-person and telehealth therapeutic support. I use a holistic, inclusive, and client-centered approach that fosters a respectful and supportive environment for growth and healing. I am also a certified SYMBIS Assessment Facilitator, helping couples strengthen and enrich their relationships through intentional, faith-informed guidance.
